 Missy Nicole

“Art and design is an essential part of everyday life. The elements of art help you to express yourself physically through the structure and development of a design and mentally through the overall idea and attitude of the product. It is important for me to express both of these aspects through a criteria that is not only creative but also mind challenging. Not only is fashion my passion, but it is also a field that requires a vision in originality, business, and arithmetic. Fashion is a trend that will never go out of style.”

Fully trained at the University of North Texas, College of Visual Arts and Design, Missy further pursues her career in the apparel or costume industry with a B.F.A. in Fashion Design and a minor in Fashion Merchandising.

Missy graduated in May 2009 with honors, Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and The National Scholars, Golden Key International. In 2008, Missy was awarded with The Neiman Marcus Scholarship, in 2009 the TDA food and Fibers Research Grant Program, Texas Natural Fibers Design Competition 3rd place--Cotton, and also the Melanie Carrico Award for Most Creative Design.
